Since the launch of Laughing Man Coffee & Tea three months ago, we started a great endeavor together amidst the outpouring of support from the folks in the cafe to anyone who visits our site or on-line community. I want to take the time to reach out and thank you for your early support, offer some insight into the last several months, and highlight the developments in the coming year.
The launch of Laughing Man has been an amazing adventure, guided by a promise to my friend Dukale and supported by the goodwill of the community. The thought of working on the coffee farm with Dukale in a distant setting and bringing to life a company that he inspired, humbles me. Laughing Man generates great enthusiasm both here and abroad, and our community already stretches from Moscow to Mexico and from London to Lithuania. Our plan is to make Laughing Man available to everyone who reaches out to us. I am grateful to our customers and supporters who create an encouraging, engaging, and fun community. We are always here to receive your feedback and to never stop improving our company.
We want to share some new year’s resolutions guided by your feedback and suggestions.
- SHIPPING - We want to ship our products worldwide in 2012. Right now, we ship product to the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia. The domestic and international goal is to lower costs, improve tracking and ensure the safe arrival of your order.
- BACK ORDERS - We will develop better notifications when items are back ordered and back in stock.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE - We will continue to build on our new ticketing system that keeps track of your questions and concerns. The system creates a reference number for each inquiry and ensures that we address your concerns as quickly as possible. This setup enforces our belief that there is no excuse for poor customer service. We are here for you.
- FUN STUFF - We want to create an interactive part of the site that you can use to upload and share photos and quotes and to put your pictures on the Laughing Man products. In the cafe, we will install an iPad that you can use to take photos and leave video messages for the Laughing Man community.
- CUSTOMER FEEDBACK - We will continue to review feedback on our service and the ways to improve the on-line experience, cafe experience, and products, and the
- LAUGHING MAN NEWSLETTER - We are developing a newsletter that is a mix of literary content, company news, special offers and Laughing Man community-based content. Stay tuned for the Adventures of Laughing Man . . .
- QUALITY CONTENT - We want to develop written and video content for you and offer a platform for the community to share content. The focus will include coffee education, charitable projects and ways to bring people together over good conversation are a few of the areas we will be focusing on in the coming year.
