What’s Hugh Jackman’s favorite drink?
The Flat White. It’s our signature drink.
What’s Hugh’s involvement with Laughing Man?
Hugh is a co-founder and intimately involved with Laughing Man. When he’s in New York he visits frequently to discuss the business or just to say “hi” and enjoy a flat white. When he’s not in town the founders exchange emails and calls on all aspects of the growth and future of Laughing Man. His participation and insight is what helps this to be such a personal and passionate endeavor.
Where does Laughing Man ship products to?
Right now Laughing Man ships coffee and tea to the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Our chocolates are only available in the United States. BUT, we made it a goal of ours in 2012 to ship worldwide, and you can read Hugh Jackman’s New Year Resolution letter here.
Are Laughing Man products fairly traded?
Our product selection is guided by one principle: respect. Respect for the farmer, respect for the land, respect for the bean and respect for the community. There are many different certifications that embody the principle of respect. The most well known include Fair Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Bird Friendly, Shade Grown, Direct Trade and Relationship Coffee. There are also many uncertified coffees that are also grown respectfully. Laughing Man only offers coffees that respect the farmer. Our goal is 100% transparency between the farm and the cup.
Where do Laughing Man coffee come from?
It depends on whether you’re talking about our Single Origins or our Blends. You can read more about the differences here.

Laughing Man Worldwide gives 100% of profits to charity by incubating companies and products that believe in the ALL BE HAPPY vision. Starting with Laughing Man Coffee & Tea we decided to give away half of the company to Laughing Man Worldwide so that when we work, we work for ALL BE HAPPY. Laughing Man Worldwide believes education is the essential foundation for ensuring a peaceful, healthy and prosperous worldwide community. We support innovative and effective educational initiatives both here and abroad. To begin with, we have partnered with Harlem Village Academies and Dr. Deborah Kenny.
